Why do certain colors look different after they print?

Factor #1: computer monitors – It is easy to understand that not every monitor will be calibrated the same.  In addition, even if they were calibrated the same they would all vary based on quality of monitor, video card etc.  Also it’s important to understand that viewing color tones and shades on a backlit computer monitor will be slightly different that the shades and tones on paper and ink.  BizPrint has calibrated computer monitors that best mirror the color shades and tones final print product.  The proof you view on your computer may vary depending on your setup.

 

Factor #2: printer - Most home and small business printers are either inexpensive ink-jet printers, or color laser printers. It is impossible to calibrate any of these systems as they have a wide and varied range of methods of printing. Even though some printers use CMYK inks, many other factors have to be considered, and it is impossible to expect to consistently print perfect color.

 

BizPrint uses an extremely high-end, multi-million dollar printing facility, with consistent quality control and color correction standards. While BizPrint maintains as high standards as possible, it is still almost impossible to print and expect to see exactly the same color every day.

 

These are part of the details of our industry.  There are so many possible factors that can affect the color on your printed materials. The weather outside can play a part in affecting how the ink dries on the paper, and can change the color slightly. The paper delivered from the paper mill may be slightly brighter. The ink density and constant on-press fluctuations in color, printing press running temperature or blanket wear, could also affect color slightly. It is impossible to expect that any professional printer can produce exactly the same printed blue on two separate days.

BizPrint is committed to customer satisfaction. We have a 100% guarantee on our design work.  Our custom graphics designers will work and rework your design until it is exactly the way you want it, GUARANTEED.  After your approval of your initial design, any changes to your design for future orders may be subject to fees.  We will reprint or refund the cost of any product that fails to meet our customer’s quality expectations regarding the printed product, for example flaws in the print process caused by our equipment. However, we cannot take responsibility for design issues such as typing, image, or design errors after your design approval; that is to say we will print the final approved proof as you approve it.

 

BizPrint guarantees that you will be satisfied with the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with any product, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

What resolution does my artwork need to be for uploading?

For best results, save your artwork to 300 dpi (dots per inch) at the final print dimensions (full bleed size when uploading an entire product design).  View our image upload quality requirements

 

 

Which shipping methods do you use?

For deliveries within the United States, we generally deliver via UPS.  Some order however may deliver via USPS or Airborne.

What are your operating hours?

9am to 5pm CST Monday through Friday. 

 


What about privacy and security?

No information we collect for order processing or from inquiries is shared with any other company or website. Your information is only used to contact you when necessary. Credit Card information is only used to bill you for products and services ordered.

 

Our secure shopping cart uses the latest secure server technology. Your order is submitted and retrieved with a secure connection to our server and remains secure at all times.

Most experts consider that ordering securely on the internet is as safe or safer than giving your information over the phone or to stores. Most cards have a Zero Liability policy for internet use and limit your liability in the case of fraudulent use of your card.

Can I order 2-color printing from you?

Yes you can, but we suggest you get the best value for your dollar and go for full color, instead of two-color!

 

 

 

Is there an extra charge for bleeds?

No. Unlike many other companies, all our prices include full bleeds free of charge.

 

 


How do I order multiple pieces?

To keep things simple, please place a separate order for each different printed piece you want produced. For example, if you want 3 different 8.5x11 brochures, please place 3 orders. Obviously, the price for 3,000 of one brochure is not the same as the price for 1,000 each of 3 different brochures.

How long does it take for me to get the graphics proof of my custom design?

Once you have placed your order, you should get a pdf proof within 1 business day after we receive your electronic files.

 

 


How long will it take to get my order?

Most jobs will be shipped within 4 business days after you approve your proof. Please check the turnaround time for specific products.  Shipping by UPS takes from 1 to 5 business days to get to you depending on your location.

How can I get my order even faster?


Our standard service is quite fast. For most products we ship your order within 4 days after you approve your proof online, via UPS Ground. In most parts of the country, that means you will have your order in about 6-10 days. If you want to receive your order faster, select one of our faster handling options or upgraded shipping options when you place your order.

 

 

Can I order over the phone?


Yes, telephone orders are always welcome.

Do I receive proofs prior to print?

 

BizPrint does not send out hard copy proofs unless requested.   However, a pdf proof will always be emailed to you unless you waive that option
